Our Story

My name is Peter Galagan. I’m a Vineland native, small business owner, a father, and an electrician. I entered the trade at the age of 17 years old, hoping that one day I would become an electrical contractor. From the beginning I wanted to learn as much as possible and be the best electrician I could be.

In 2011 with a thirst for more knowledge I entered the IBEW 5 year apprenticeship program. Working during the day while attending school at night. It was hard… but I always had the long term goal in mind. I got to work on many cool projects like Walmart’s, home-depots, college campuses and industrial facilities. After completing my apprenticeship I became a Journeyman electrician. After gaining some more experience in different aspects of the trade in 2017 I became a foreman. I ran projects for a Philadelphia based company who specialized in large electrical projects in hospitals and healthcare facility’s. I always tried to learn as much as I could to prepare me for my long term goal.So getting certifications or taking on more responsibility never scared me.

2020 COVID was introduced to the world…. and I was determined to not give up and waste time with everything shutdown. I diligently studied to get my electrical license in Philadelphia. Passing my exam, P Galagan Electric was finally born. After contracting in Philadelphia for a year, I signed up to take the NJ exam. Passing that enabled me to take my journey to my home state. P Galagan Electric was now licensed in PA and NJ! Fast forward to today, we are continually trying to exceed customers expectations and are always thankful for the opportunity to serve our community members. Our team cares about every job from start to finish. Because we believe in craftsmanship and we strive to keep it alive!

Long term goal…. Delaware Electrical license so we can serve the tri state!
